The Yin & Yang of Trauma
C3 Session 17 - The Yin (bad) & Yang (good) of trauma
Key Questions
WHO can express gratitude for you about your life?
WHAT beliefs changed after you experienced trauma?
WHERE do you choose to dwell? A place of power or defeat, Yin or Yang?
WHY do you believe you survived your trauma when others in similar situations didn't?
WHEN on your life's journey how have you helped others because of your trauma?
HOW has your trauma helped you to change for the better?
Self-Reflection Points
The Yin and Yang are the co-existence of two opposites. Don’t spend most of your life focused on the side that is powerless when you also have an equally powerful side.
Using your experience to help others can also help you.
When you relate to someone's hurt and help them, just remember that you can only help them because of your shared experience.
If you don't see the lesson in what life has to give you, you may miss out on the blessings.
Sometimes you may never know "Who shared your Pain?" but you can be assured that you didn't suffer alone.
Yin and Yang is the balance between justice and fairness. Everyone doesn't get the same life but we all get the same amount of GRACE - Romans 5: 15-21, Titus 3:4-7 Holy Bible
"My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness" 2 Cor 12:9, Holy Bible
